Has anyone ever taken the herb Feverfew for a long interval of time to prevent migraines?

If so, did it minimize them at all?Has anyone ever taken the herb Feverfew for a long interval of time to prevent migraines?
I own. I still take it, in actual fact. It has help somewhat. It's certainly no cure-all, but it does brand coping easier. I've tried going off of it, and I other feel worse when I do. Make sure you agree to your doctor, and use a standardized dose.
it doesnt work. possibly the use of B-blockers as a prophylactic can help, but in attendance are no herbal remedies. sorry
yes, my sister uses feverfew brewed like tea
She have suffered from horrible migraines (all migraines are horrible) most of her life
Interesting that her husband is cranium of Pharmacy at a local hospital.
It has not proven to be the best method to obtain rid of a migraine... but Feverfew has dramatically cut down on the frequency and the duration
SHe uses Imitrex (not sure of the spelling).. at most minuscule the last time we talk... when she gets one
She is living proof that Alt Meds work. And that they can work within harmony next to traditional medicine to treat migrain headache
By the way, she started on Feverfew as a finishing resort... when she was 11 or 12 years elderly & my parents had to transport her to the ER alot & the doctors tried everything... it was merely after that when my father was prepared to take the push for of my Cherokee Indian Great-Grandma
And it worked.. she turned 40 this past January & from time to time will miss her Feverfew tea.. if she feels approaching one is coming on and/or when it gets close to her time she increases from 2 times a day to three times a daylight... she has even be known to mix it next to other teas to add a touch variety to the flavor (she really like to mix with peppermint tea)
There is a foreign development within migraine therapy:
