How do I rouse up? I am so groggy.?

Last night I didn't sleep resourcefully (sinus & allergy problems). This morning I took a Benadryl and now I am spacey/tired. Also, the weather is muggy so I hold everything going against me. Tonight, I have a jamboree to go to and I am blah. I'm at work presently. Do you know of anyways to get me pumped up lacking chugging tons of coffee? I just don't wan't to be a deputation pooper tonight.How do I rouse up? I am so groggy.?

jump for a half hour walk/jog, that will obtain the blood moving in your body, getting more oxygen to your cell and giving you a boost! eat some protein or rob a B12 supplement, this will help too. So will sugar and coffee but you'll spike and afterwards drop again.
I would wait till you're at the get-together and then conceivably have a cup of strong tea or coffee while you're at hand to help you be perky for an hour or two. give somebody a lift a little doze too if you can....drink a lot of marine, dehydration won't help any.
The scent of citrus naturally will get up you up. Also, Benadryl has a side affect of sleep. I never clutch that during the day. Take some over the counter allergy prescription such as Claritin on a daily idea during allergy season. This will help prevent allergies and if you still catch the congenstion take some Sudafed. If you want the caffine short the coffee try No Doz or Mt. Dew. Good luck.
